Our mission is very simple, with over 13.5 million malnourished children India must work tirelessly to improve the quality of life for its population for generations to come. The Akshaya Patra Foundation believes that only through education can we achieve this. We are therefore aiming to reach 5 million children by the year 2020, helping them get an education and improve the quality of life of a family for generations to come. Only by eradicating hunger can we promote education!
